We noticed A LOT of groups being guided through DL yesterday, by the tour guides. They all had on necklaces that had the Primetime info on it.

Were these family of those particapating in the Primetime? Or were there something else going on? It seemed every ride we went to, had a group of them in front.

Also, we had not been to the park in a long time...and was curious to know, when they started the instant winner thing at Autopia? My daughter won a Autopia toy car from it!

I know that prior to the Premiere of Pirates...they went through the ride to get it ready and that some changes were done. Yesterday on the ride, I noticed, in the scene, where there is 3 pirates singing next to a stable door....that all the animals were missing, there used to be a mule, dog and something else, I beleive. Are they gone for good, or just gone for refurbishing?

Does anyone know what happened during the late afternoon Parade of the Stars? We were waiting to cross the route by TeaCups, and the parade just stopped. It looked like they were doing something to the Blue Fairy? It did not look like any mechanical, because from what we could see, it looked like they were messing with the piece that holds her in, on her back? They were stopped long enough, that the Swan Dancers, ended up stopping and just standing there...and they ended up letting us cross, within touching distance of the Princess'!

I don't know how long they've been doing it, but it's been a little while, six months at least. A co-worker of my husband bought an AP for himself and his two daughters for Christmas last year, and a few months after that, one of his daughters won an Autopia car as well.

The families you saw were probably family and relatives of the celebrities who were working the DCA event.

And yes, when the dad or wife, et al are celebrities doing the gig, the family members get special VIP passes and they also get treated like special guests (well, more special than us peon guests who according to Walt are all special).
