Ok, I'll admit that I always get a twitch when I hear people using crazy grammar or spelling things wrong, but I thought the people who made up/printed signs for DLR knew better...

I ended up at the ABC Primetime event this weekend and near the amphitheater was a sign that said: Eight Simple Rules For DATEING My Daughter, as well as informing us that the My Wife and Kids segment of the event was CANCELED for the day. Did anyone else notice this? I know it's just a little thing, but really!!! :fez:

I was just about to fix the thread title. Good thing I didn't!

I think Disney is in serious need of a proofreader or at least a spellcheck program. They've had a pretty bad track record, imo, as far as misspelling things or leaving out words. Here's a picture (http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/Pirates%20Gallery/gallery03.jpg) of one of the caption plaques in the current Pirates exhibit in the Gallery.

They had two other plaques that had errors in them as well, but they seemed to have actually gone to the trouble of fixing those: old plaque (http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/pirates1.jpg) and new plaque (http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/Pirates%20Gallery/gallery01.jpg) and old plaque (http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/pirates2.jpg) and new plaque (http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/Pirates%20Gallery/gallery02.jpg).

And then there's always the mispelling that we noticed that someone posted a picture of (http://disneyforever.com/disneyland/7_12_03/pages/pic054.htm) from the El Capitan exhibit.

And it's really too bad we never got a picture of the park map they had up by GRR that had a particular attraction listed a "Mupetvision 3D"...

Actually, according to my Merriam-Webster's, canceled can be spelled either with one "l" or two. The same with traveled. Although how they messed up the word dating is beyond me.

Wait, I thought I was the human spellchecker? ;)

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out when I get a chance. Wonder if I should submit the picture I took and which was published in Steve Harvey's column in the L.A. Times with the serious CalTrans typo...

For example:

Advfentureland

Matterhorn Bobleds

Winnie the Pooh and the Blistery Day

It is one of the chief complaints among pin traders. And the best part is, they usually do not notice until one of us points it out!! So I don't know why they would do a better job on signs than they would on pins!!!!

And don't get us started on the Magical Musical Moments pins where they had the songs assigned to the wrong movies!!!!!

Oh, and wasn't there a huge typo in the E-ticket pin, which caused them to pull it? I think we ended up getting two of those before they pulled it. We were going to exchange them because the pin parts were actually coming off, but when we heard they were pulled, we just kept them.

It sounds this little problem is a little worse worse than I thought!

Just out of curiousity, what did this pin say?? Now I'm picturing things like Eedeeanna Jowns and Hawntud Manshun pins floating around...
