Hello,

I'm trying to put together a vacation for my family of 5 over the Christmas holidays. We're on a budget and we are wondering about general info on the park and traditional events that occur during that time. We would also like to stay a a decent hotel, but can't afford the Disney hotels. Any info on the Annibell hotel near the SW corner of West and Katella. We would like to walk over the the hotel and catch the monorail or one of the trams if it's possible to do if not staying at the hotel.
Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks.:)

We just came back from a trip to DLR, and stayed at the Best Western Courtesy Inn. It's right on the corner of West & Ball, right behind the Parking Structure. We will definitely stay there again. It is reasonably priced, very clean, and they have coffee makers, a fridge & microwave. They also have a continental breakfast in the lobby (coffee, juice & pastries). I found the managers to be very nice and helpful.
And no, I don't work for Best Western! ;)

We just really enjoyed our stay there.

Hope this helps....

Hi Guy,
If you go to this thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=718) you will see some discussion of the changes made for Christmas at DL. If you go to the second to the last post in the thread here (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=20392) you will see two links to Mouseplanet stories from last Christmas. The information should give you a good idea about what to expect this year. The only big differences for this year would be anything they do at DCA and also the Haunted Mansion makeover for the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Have not heard of that hotel, but if it is on that corner than it is a short walk to the park entrance. Have fun.
