With the X Games in the lot, does the tram still run through here? And how long will the X Games be on for? Thanks:)

The games end this Sunday the 10th. I don't know how much of the parking lot is open or if the tram still goes over there.

The Timon lot is still open, mainly used for Handicap and construction workers.

The Lion King tram still runs, with just one stop, basically behind Flik's Fun Fair and ToT.

Thanks:) The reason I ask is that we will be staying at the Anabella Hotel, and the easist way to get to the Parks from there is to walk to the tram stop in Timon and catch a ride.

Carlie, be prepared for a walk, you might want to use the ART shuttle instead...

Saturday, I stopped by the DLR for a few hours before seeing the Angels - Blue Jays game, mainly walked around the outside of the resort taking picture of DCA for DCACentral.com. (Not up yet, still working on the editing portion). Walked down Katella from Harbor to Disneyland Drive, and then back through the Timon lot. Once you get to the pedestrian gate on Katella, you have to walk from one end of the parking lot to the complete other end, as the only stop is located nearest the Main Entry Plaza.

You're kidding?! Last year you had to walk about half-way and that was bad enough...Grrrrrrrrrr:( Are there any other ways to get to the Parks from the Anabella (walking)? Can you go down DL Drive and somehow get into DTD?

Yes, you can walk down Disneyland Drive to DtD, but that is a bit longer of a walk...

Once again, the ART shuttle (Anaheim Resort Transit) is probably your best bet, yes, it is $3 a day (cheaper if you buy a multiple day pass, and kids 9 and under are free), but it goes from your hotel to the Main Entry Plaza, basically the same area where the Lion King trams load/unload.

You buy your passes at the hotel front desk when you check in, the Anabella is on route "F".

Here are a few photos of the shuttles...

If you walk down Disneyland Drive you might be able to cut thru the Grand Californian. It shaves a little time off the walk. The only problem is you don't know if the Hotel gates are going to be open to Downtown Disney or not. We stayed at the flea bag Parkside Inn and liked walking to the Park. No waiting for shuttles or paying for one.

How often does the ART shuttle run? Is it very frequent?
