If you do not meet the height requirements, as i didn't...poor widdle me. :-P There is still hope! You can audition to be a host!

A host is the person who stands by the characters, takes pictures, answers questions, tell mickey when he needs his cheesecake break...

Hosting is so much fun! And loff it! :-P

So, if you're too short, too tall, or just too middle, you can be a host! No matter your size! YAY for hosting! :-P

jerjer: you need to be 18 or 17 and a graduating senior next year.

I still think it depends on who you talk to.

When I called yesterday, they said 17, or a graduating senior. Even though the latter doesn't make sence.

I'd love to. Too bad I'm so far away. :(

Nobody plays Mickey.

They "Assist in the portrayal of the character".

Yeah... I kind of figured a girl would most likely play Mickey. Hey, but I'm 17 and maybe I could tryout! haha. Nope, not me.

How much do characters make? And what kind of schedule do they have?

Pay depends on what you want to work:

CT (holidays) or CR (holidays fulltime and weekends offseason)

If you're a Mickey height... (under 5'3) you can easily work 40 hours a week cause it's such a high demand. (and they're not all girls too)

Otherwise, you get scheduled what you preference and usually get 30-40 hours. It's really easy to pick up extra shifts too...since you can be stand-by for shifts too.

If you're curious...try out! It's the only way you'll know if it's something you want to do, or even can do! About 75% of those auditioning get sent home after the first section of the process is over.

There are pros/cons to every job... but the best pro is simply being able to wear WHATEVER you want to work and not care! :)

Oh...and height is in your socks - so if you don't really fit, you might want to reconsider. Or just start stretching yourself...

Dang it! At 5'4", now I'll never be a Disney Princess.

That's why I make my own costumes! And, dang, I look good!
