Does anyone Know if DL plans to reopen the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk through attraction?

I always enjoyed that... there wasn't much to it, but there was never a crowd in there and you could move at your own pace!

Is there really anything in the castle or just a walkway, i heard there was a reastraunt (sp?) in one of the floors.

nope no resturaunt... just the walk way with scenes from sleeping beauty... the one in WDW had a room built for a personal appartment for Walt Disney and his family... unfortunately he passed before the completing of the park.

Are they going to turn it into an attraction or something or just leave it how it was

if you are referring to the room in the WDW castle (cinderellas castle) then no... its used as storage space now

At DL, The walkway depicted scenes from Sleeping Beauty. in WDW, as you walk through the main castle entrance from the hub thru to Fantasyland there are beautiful full size tile murals showing scenes from Cinderella. On the second floor is a King Stephan's banquet Hall. It is a full service restaurant overlloking Fantasyland thru stained glass windows. It's a great treat, and actaully few people know of it as the entrance is tucked away to the side.

I heard the DL walk through was closed indefinitely because of the difficulty in making it ADA compliant. Not worth the effort ($)

ADA complience isn't the problem with the Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough.

You should notice that there isn't a wheelchair option for Tarzan's Treehouse.

The reason is security against terrorism, currently.

Thanks for the added info and correction. Sorry, with the crowds, I'm just worried about getting trampled or loosing my little one - not the wheel chair access.:D

If it is for the terrosim then why is it still closed i mean know would be a perfect time to open something up since some attractions will be closed soon.

There is?

I missed it. What/where is the wheelchair option for the Treehouse?

Disneyteen,

I want them to reopen the castle as much as you do. I don't think that the danger of terrorism is a good enough reason to close it.

But I don't think that just because we've fought 2 wars has made the terrorism threat disappear.
