I'd LOVE to have that guy from Mission to Mars in my living room.

What's your favorite aa?

My favorite AA was Tom Morrow, but I heard he's been removed from Innoventions. He was the only reason I would even spin the turn-style at Innoventions. I'd see Tom do his thing then make a mad dash for the exit so I didn't waste any more time in there.

My favorites are the pirate captain in PotC and the Droid Pilot in Star Tours. I also like the dancing ghosts in HM, but I'm not sure if they qualify as animatronic.

I would love to have the America Sings turned Splash Mountain vultures in my living room.

Hi,

My favorite animatronics are the two fighting animatronics at Pirates of the Caribbian at Disneyland Parijs.

The second and the third are the animatronic at the Visionarium at DLP and the animatronic in Aliën Encounter at the Magic Kingdom Orlando.

Marcel.

From a purely technical standpoint, I'd say Tom Morrow (as he has some terrific movement, and I love that he behaves as if he's backstage when he's between sets). The downside is, you have to go through innoventions to see him.

I had forgotten about the two swordfighting pirates though... they're cool!

From a sentimentality standpoint, I like the Country Bears - each with their own distinct personality, and a script laced with subtle jokes (such as when Teddi Bearra is singing "what a glorious feeling I'm happy again" and Henry quietly says "I'm feeling pretty good myself!" Creatively, I think the country bears hold the prize for making the strongest connection with their audience.

The Pirate Auctioneer from POTC. He shifts his weight - pretty cool.

2nd place goes to the Indian storyteller on the Mark Twain. He has a variety of movements.

"We want the redhead! We want the redhead!"

Yup, I'd want the redhead around in my living room...

Yeah right!?! Just kidding. Besides, my girlfriend would probaly dis-own me due to a weird fetish for audio-animatronics!:D

Mr. Lincoln - although I have yet to see the new and improved Mr. Lincoln.....

And, I'm feeling all sentimental about the Bears today. Moorigoon has a point. From a "show" standpoint, none of the AAs in the park have as much personality as those darn bears and, of course, Buff, Melvin and Max.

*sigh*

Hmmmm the Tiki birds, a litlle time in the deepfryer and presto dinner. I like the look of Tom Morrow, but he needs to have more personality, like talking while he is not performing. Indy needs to have a face closer to Harrison, but they are all great, even the simple ones.

Every anima-tronic is special for me. But my favorite is Tom Morrow, he has very special movement and all, I always tend to take photos from him.

The barrel captain from Pirates. I'd love to have him in my back yard now that Disney doesn't want him anymore (even though he was a 'signature' AA for this attraction, featured prominently in promotions for the ride, and the commanding ;) figure of the final scene).

Does anyone know why they eliminated this fantastic pirate and replaced him with those face-motionless AA figures from World of Motion that do not match the existing pirates at all?
