Do you think Disneyland will do anything to celebrate "Pirates of the Caribbean" turning 45 next year? If so, when?

Perhaps they are doing something during this refurbishment. Or, taking a que from the past two years, perhaps Disney will celebrate the date by closing the ride for several months, scrapping it, because it works, and replacing it with something confusing, such as another Princess Meet and Greet.

As a groanworthy bit of news, I read that they are going to install a loop.

at a minimum you'll see a few merchandise pieces. For the 40th they did a mini-event where there were things to buy, imagineers to meet, etc. but that was it. when March comes by (the ride opened March 18, 1967) the building for DCA's summer may be happening so I don't think they will do anything REALLY BIG. Maybe for the ride's 50th. I would keep checking the artofdisneyparks.com for any info.
