I attended this event last year, and while I thought there were a few issues (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/entry.php?745-3rd-annual-Taste-of-Downtown-Disney-benefitting-CHOC-Children-s-a-recap), it was a fun night and the event benefits a very worthy organization. Tickets are $75 this year, up from $50 last year, but it's still quite the value - especially if you are a wine drinker.

As I noted last year, this would be a fun night out for friends or couples. I would definitely recommend purchasing your tickets as a group to make sure you're assigned to the same rotation. We had asked CHOC about setting up a rotation for MousePlanet readers; I'll report back as soon as I hear from them on that.
