What do you think of the article on Disneylands 50th today? I just want to hear your opinions.

It seemed rather dry and boring to me.
It had nothing in it that we didn't already know.

Ho-Hum. So they're talking to some DL oldtimers. Big deal. Sure, it's a good sign and all (and one most folks have known about already - not to slam anyone who hadn't heard yet). But the test is whether they act upon the recommendations - not whether they listen to the recommendations.

The last paragraph does capture the essence of the argument though:

"Hopefully, some of that creativity and daring will rub off on those in charge of planning the 50th anniversary celebration. If not, they'll discover that, with expectations so high, cautiousness will guarantee failure."

I believe this with every word....

Disneyland could be doomed if the company doesn't deliver.
