Do you notice how Disney recycles old buildings and attractions?

For a clear example, I will list certain things below that have been reused.

A) Rocket Jets- The rockets were removed and replaced with satellite dishes

B) Tomorrowland Layout- Same since 1955! The buildings are even the same!

C) Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse- Added Tarzan Characters, otherwise the same attraction

D)Autopia- Same Layout since 1955, center guiderail and new station added.

E) Country Bears- The bears were taken off their foundations, and Pooh Characters, that used the same mechanisms as the bears, were the replacements.

F) Nature's Wonderland- Mountain was made bigger, and the town, goats, and skeletons were kept.

Have you noticed how Disney just re-uses attractions and buildings instead of building them from scratch? :)

All true, but Autopia has a much different layout than it did in 1955.

O.K., let me add two more questions to this post...

A: Why does Disney do this recycling processes? Why don't they build from scratch?

B: What else has been recycled, or reused?

... and Please Don't Answer YES :D :D :D !

Ok, Ok... I really shouldn't have said that, but I am more concious after reading "Ignoring Threads", which has some suggestions we all need and should follow. Hope I didn't ruffle any feathers. :)

I'd say that Disney recycles so much because not only is it more cost efficiant than starting from scratch, it also reduces waste. Take the AAs that were removed from America Sings and moved into Spash for example. Why waste time and money creating completely new AAs when you already have something that already has the base structure for what you need and would otherwise go to waste. Same thing for the omni-mover system that was once used in Inner Space and now in use at the Mansion. That's why Disney hates to throw stuff out...you never know what you could use it for in the future.
