I'm trying to help my sister find inexpensive lodging for her huge family this summer. What we've done in the past is book adjoining motel rooms, and that works fine, but we're hoping to expand our options. She has 2 adults, 2 teens over 18, plus 6 kids coming this year!

We're open to any suggestions! They're driving in, staying for a week and doing Disneyland and the SoCal CityPass attractions, so they don't have to be close to Disneyland.

:) Thanks!!!

I have a specialist looking into this for you. I can tell you now it's not going to be cheap. More tomorrow.

I work for AAA in the travel dept. I looked to see what I could find; unfortunately I couldn't find anyone that would allow 10 people in a room (even at the condo rentals). Most suite properties allowed 6 and some allowed 8. I think your best bet is still to get the adjoining rooms. If you need more info (i.e. which suite properties are available and/or prices) let me know which dates you need and I will see what is available.

I don't know of any real vacation condo areas immediately around Disneyland. If you go a little west towards the beach cities, you will find plenty. Huntington Beach isn't too far away from DLR. Other possibilities are Long Beach, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach. If you are having problems finding rentals for large groups, try vacationrentals.com. They have listings for lots of cities in the area.

It's not the Ritz, but the Desert Inn has Suites which sleep 10.

Also, Its VERY close.

Thanks for the help everyone!!! It is a tough one to plan for. I made reservations for adjoining rooms, but I did see some interesting rentals on the webpage that MegaDuck recommended and I might look into those some more.

I'm getting so excited!!! Only a couple more months!!!
