I heard she was leaving the show to get married. Any truth? Is she still there on the weekends?

Who is her replacement?

Deedee is still with Aladdin. She is on vacation now because she is getting married. As for Roxanne's replacement, it is Jennie Kwan. Most of the cast of Aladdin is going to be here until Nov. 2003.

Maybe the cast (or most of the cast) will be preparing for the Broadway version?

They will most likely be re-newing the contract in November if the show does well, or not if it doesn't. All these shows have time limits when they hire talent. It doesn't mean they will be cancelling then.

Well whatever happens, I hope Aladdin is here until it starts to get old, then the get something new and even better. :)

The show will be on beyond November. Most of the original cast's contracts expires in Nov. 2003. So we have to wait and see if some will stay or leave. Not to sound commercial, but if you didn't see the show yet, you should see it with the original cast. They have brought to the show a lot of talent, and as time goes by, they get better and better. :)

I'm an Aladdin fan too! :)

But I do have to say. The last time I saw the show, (Sunday- 5 pm) they had a "new" Aladdin. He did "OK", but nothing like Michael Lee. He just the best IMO. There was also a 'new" Jasmine. I think she did a great job. :)

Nice to meet you too, RallyMonkey. :)
Oh, you didn't like Timothy. :crying: From what I heard and from watching the show, he has improved a lot on his performance and singing, especially the voice. He is my second favorite guy to watch as Aladdin. Nobody can ever compare to Michael though. :D

I only like Michael. I don't care for the other Aladdins. Genie I like Nick and Orville. Jafar and Iago both sets of cast are good. Same with Jasmine.

Just curious, how do you know WHICH actors you are seeing??

We saw the show last week, but I have no idea which actors were there....

Before you enter the doors to the queue area, check the cast list on either side of the entrance (where they collect the tickets). It lists the cast members for the show.

People who go all the time know who is who just by looking at them. :)
