Since we had a thread for the Halloweentime treats available at the Disneyland Resort, I thought I'd start one for holiday treats.

Here's Disney's page about what's available during the holidays. (http://disneyland.disney.go.com/events/holidays/dining/)

Here's the Santa Mickey mini-mug mentioned on the page. It's pretty much like the Halloween one they had during Halloweentime. They're available with varying desserts at select restaurants.

There are festive cupcakes as well. I love the snowflake sprinkles.

There's a Snowman apple available. I don't remember them having Mickey ears in prior years, but I might just not have noticed.

If you like your snowman to be a little less nutritious, they also have marshmallows decorated as snowmen.

http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/picture.php?albumid=563&pictureid=4646

They also have marshmallows that are dipped in chocolate and then rolled in crushed candy canes. I think they look great, but they'd probably be too sweet for my taste. They also have a version done with a pretzel stick rather than marshmallows, and I think the sweet and salty of that might be nicer.

Of course, there's always peppermint fudge. They usually have eggnog fudge during the holidays as well, but I haven't seen that show up yet. Pumpkin fudge is also still available.

And of course, there are always holiday cookies.

I'd love a report back from anyone who tries the pretzel stick/ chocolate/ peppermint candy creation. Sounds really interesting.

Maybe I will try one of those Drince. I loved the Celebration Pretzel they had this summer with M&M's, pretzels and chocolate!

I'm hoping to get a couple of the cups this weekend! Guess that means I will have to buy some desserts..

I looked at the website and didn't see a list of where they are serving the Mickey cups. Any one know where they are served and if there is more then one flavor?

Thanks. My mouth/brain connection drools nicely at the thought of chocolate and pretzel (even more so at white chocolate and pretzel), and it drools at chocolate and peppermint candy, but pretzel and peppermint candy isn't quite causing the same response.

"Sweets and Treats

Make a Holidays Demitasse Dessert part of a new tradition. This chocolate and peppermint cake is topped with mousse and served in a souvenir Mickey Santa demitasse. "

There may be more options though. I will report back next weekend what I find, as I do plan to find these!!

I took the picture at Carnation Cafe. If they run this promotion the same as they did with the Halloweentime pumpkin Mickey version, they'll be available at the table service restaurants like Cafe Orleans and Carnation with one kind of dessert and then at "scramble service" restaurants (like Plaza Inn and Rancho del Zocalo) with a different flavor.

AVP posted the locations and info in her blog here on the site.

we tried the Chocolate Cupcake with mint frosting swirl. It was OK - not what I had expected based on the description.

The tamales, by the way, are HEAVEN!

I bought mine on Friday at the bakery next to EnginEars toys in DCA. It had chocolate mousse in it.

I have to get that demitasse Santa Mickey. I have the Halloween version. Did they just start those this year or do I just not remember them being available before?

I have no idea whether what I found is seasonal or not -- but I bought a bag of Milk Chocolate Salted Caramels at Pooh Corner (the shop right outside the Winnie the Pooh ride at Disneyland) yesterday. I just now tried them. They're seriously yummy. :p

They also have holiday themed candy apples with Mickey and Minnie.

And for good measure, Snowman Mickey popcorn buckets.

The only thing I bought was the popcorn buckets. I'm slightly interested in the pretzel stick, but I think it has too many candy cane bits on it, so I'd probably end up pulling some off. I haven't even had a chance to get the little Santa Mickey cup yet. The holiday treat that I usually like is the gingerbread cookie, which I haven't been able to take a picture of yet.

I bought the Jack Apple for my DH but he has not eaten it yet.
Sorry to say I did not have a peppermint pretzel. Just did not look good once I got there. :(
I did have a holiday brownie at DCA. We ate the dipped gingerbread cookies on our tour and they were most tasty!:D

They've had the rainbow apples at the resort for some time now, way before World of Color started, as I recall.

Last week, I saw them making some at Marceline's at DTD. It was pretty cool. It's pretty labor-intensive to get all the colors on correctly.

As I recall, it's a regular-sized marshmallow.

My favorite holiday treat is the Gingerbread Man from Blue Ribbon Bakery and/or Bakersfield Bakery (the one at the Market House is not the same thing!) I love to get one, a cup of coffee, as soon as we enter the park....got to have three on our Nov. 14-20th trip!!

I had the marshmallows covered with crushed candycanes when I went to visit on Dec 4th.
I was surprised to find out that it's dipped in caramel first, then covered with chocolate, then covered with peppermint!

Mmm that sounds so yummy! I loved the dipped marshmallows. When I was in WDW while my best friend was doing her College Program she set up a Magical Moment for me in DHS where the made a marshmallow covered in everything that they had!
