Has anyone ever taken a service animal to the park? I've seen alot of rather large dogs in the park, and I've always wondered what happens to them when their owners go on rides? Do they stay with the cast members at the exit?

Do they stay with the cast members at the exit?We take ours all the time. Cast Members may not handle the service dogs. Depending on the ride, we use rider swap. My daughter will ride with her sister and brother while I hold the dog, then I ride when she comes off.

The dogs can ride if there is not a height requirement.

Even if they are tall enough though, they cannot ride...

Shoot. Now I'm in trouble. I'm so sorry, Dizzy4DL. I haven't done this in a number of years. I went to edit the excessive quoting and deleted too much.... If you see this before 9:42, Dizzy, you still have time to edit and add in your own comment.

The original message was (Paraphrased) -- Dizzy4DL wants to know if you have more pictures anywhere, Malcon10t because her daughter loves dogs as much as she loves Disney! -- adriennek.

Please post Belle with Mickey from last year! That's one of my favorites, after the princess one. (Although that height requirement shot might be a new favorite!)

ETA, post it bigger than the avatar version, I mean.

And the sub one.

And the Dumbo one.

And the one borrowing Pluto's bed.

And the one playing with Pluto.

Oh, forget it. I can't pick a favorite.

It IS tough but I think Belle is the prettiest of all MDM's dogs (so far) so she has the edge on me.

Ok the "Just Happy" one is my new fave because of the "Smaller guests enter first" sign, it looks like the pup is saying "K, me first!"

adriennek,
Don't worry about it! I didn't notice at the time that I had Malcon10t's entire post included in my post. :D

Malcon10t,
Thank you so much for sharing! You really made my daughter's (future Veterinarian) day. There is just something about dogs at DL. :)

I do agree with this. For me, because she's not pure-bred, she has a more interesting look. But I try not to 'discriminate' against the others just because they look exactly like their Mom and Dad! :D

I am just LOVING these pictures-especially the one UNDER Pinnocchio!
Was Belle the one you had with you at the MP Meet and Greet on October 15th? All your dogs are gorgeous/handsome!

So much fun! I love seeing the one peeking through the window on the subs. I didn't know they could go on rides, this is so cool!

There are 5 different dogs in the pups above, not counting Belle. 2 different yellow labs and 3 different black labs. (MDM can tell me if I am wrong and if Z is in the group also.)

The pups are allowed on rides they can safely ride on. We had one pup who LOVED Pirates, he would actually get excited when we would board. Another definitely loved Dumbo. But we do get warned when we enter a ride if they expect problems. An example, the gun shots on Jungle Cruise. Our pups aren't bothered by it. And TSMM they warned that their "practice dog" bolted on the ride. Ours slept through it. But they also sleep through Fantasmic!

Thank you for sharing your photos of the pups. They are so cute and its nice to see them enjoying the park too. I never knew they could ride the rides that were safe for them. I think that is wonderful. Especially when the pups go to who ever they go to once training is done. I know if I ever needed and was lucky enough to get a service dog, I would love that he or she would be able to ride with me on rides.

I think its a wonderful thing that people do when they take so much time to train these dogs. Thank you for a wonderful gift you are providing.

Agreed! although when she first got her and I saw the first picture of her I thought "huh?" She kinda had an Einstein hairdo going if I remember correctly. But she's definitely matured into a beautiful dog--even if she does get in trouble sometimes! (Stay out of the feed bin Belle!)

Really? I don't remember her looking like that at all. She has nice eyes; I probably got distracted by them.
