I saw in the park update that the Halloween merchandise is starting to roll out. Does anybody know how much the Mickey treat pumpkins run? DD would love one but if they're more than we're willing to spend I'd like to be prepared with something else when we visit for the Halloween party. The $2.50 bags are cool but would be pretty bulky for DD to carry.

I have a Halloween merchandise question, too! Hope it's okay to post it here. I read Adrienne's update of the new Halloween merchandise and saw the mention of a paper garland. Does anyone have a picture of it? And is the lantern, the same glass pumpkin/Mickey lantern as last year? Thanks.

Here's a picture of the garland and the lantern (yes, it's the same as last year).

Thanks, Adrienne! Appreciate this! I was mixed up, though, and thought the "lantern" was the orange glass pumpkin with the Mickey ears from last year. But that's more of a votive holder, I think. That's okay. I like this lantern! Love those Mickey mugs in the shot. Will look for this stuff in 2 weeks! Yay.

Good, I've been anticipating buying a Haunted Mansion / Halloween t shirt.

I love some Haunted Mansion 'round Halloween.

What?!
With a $50+ price tag they are not going to have bags available for the trick or treating? not even cheap little plastic bags?

Yes, they provide you with a bag for the Trick or Treat party, but it's pretty small and usually not really strong enough for the amount of candy you gather during the course of the event.

I think they were like $12.50 last year. I really wanted them and should've gotten them. :(

ETA: I really want that paper garland for our ASMu windows next year!!!!! How much?

I'm so excited! Halloween is SO's fav holiday. I have a feeling we'll be lugging bags of stuff out of the stores at the parks when we go at the end of Sept. Especially since the Nightmare Before Xmas vinylmations are coming out soon:p

I usually get two bags and then keep dumping one out into the other, which I keep in my purse-bag.

Last year Walgreens had Trick or Treat Mickey pumpkins for around $5, not sure if they have them this year. I picked up a couple last year, they are durable and cute.

Does anyone know if the treat pumpkins are offered out of the SOCAL area?

I am in Sacramento, and 3Princesses1Prince is from the Riverbank area, which are both in Northern CA.

Another option is to use the World of color tote to empty the small plastic treat bag into if you happen to have one or more of them, that's my plan for this trick or treat.

That reminds me, the Disney Store has the reusable Halloween shopping bags (both in store and online).
