Apparently, its Toy Story, the Musical. Which may or may not be the same show that is on the Wonder. My point is, they have a bigger stage to work with now so the play remains the same but with a different execution.

They're pulling Toy Story, the Musical from the Wonder.

Hmm that could be interesting. I love Toy Story! But the Aladdin play is awesome so I hope that gets recycled somewhere..

It's staying. They decided not to replace it with Toy Story: The Musical like had been announced a while back.

I remember when Disney announced that they were going to keep it open "for now" (I think they phrased it that way). However, it's not on the calendar after Sep 6th, and I read somewhere else (can't remember where) that it was only extended through the summer to help with the WoC crowds. So I've been wondering also if it's staying!

It wasn't (isn't?) on the schedule yet because of the construction they are doing in the area of the theater for the Trolley. It won't be showing some days because of the construction and I don't think they have an exact schedule yet.

FWIW I heard the same thing from a cast member yesterday. He said Aladdin was definitely staying and TY is not coming in. This news makes me happy. :)

I was checking the Disney Auditions Web site today, and they have a casting call for Aladdin. The audition info says performances for this contract begin November 21s, and it's a 7-month contract (starting with rehearsals October 17th)

I'm so happy it's staying. I think the Alladin show is one of the gems of CA.
