The park has so many different types of food to offer...but my favorite things at the park are:

-The fried chicken at the plaza
-calamari and a monte cristo at B.B.
-this jerk chicken and mash potato w/ onion things during halloween that they have at cafe orleans (i think)
-and of course the infamous corn dog

what are you favortie meals in any of the parks including d.t.d.?

......my favorite meal doesn't exsist anymore :( I loved the Chili Colorado at the Casa... the current menu is 'ok' there but nothing I can't live without...

Favorite currents...

The Chicken pasta dish at RRP....extra cheese sauce please!

Churros.. and YES it can be considered a meal on the go LOL

The clam chowder at the Carnation Cafe

DCA.....sadly we've only eaten at one location over there but we loved it.... Taste Pilots Grill.. I've heard great reviews and awful reviews of the place but we've always had a good meal when we went.

Those chili fries from Rancho are so good!

And of course my fave Mint Julep!

I love the hot crab dip at Rain Forest

Don't have a favorite meal at DCA yet, but I love walking around there sipping a margarita from Rita's blenders!:D

Yep, I agree-fried chicken at the Plaza

And the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl at Pacific Wharf-even better than the same at NOS.

Over priced but yummy-coconut shrimp at the Rainforest Cafe

Corn Chowder at Storyteller's Cafe

Chicken at TL Terrace was AWFUL this last time. Tiny pieces and cooked to the consistancy of a Mummy. Might try one more time.)

I never miss an opportunity for gumbo in the bread bowl at NOS.

And at Blue Bayou, it's gotta be jambalaya.

mmmmm.....the turkey bacon sandwich at LaBrea.......

And honestly, I haven't tasted anything at DCA that knocks my socks off. The fish tacos were horrid, I tried another taco meal another time--blah, and the Taste Pilot's Grill was fine, but nothing stands out as something I can't live without.

And I have NEVER gone to the Tiki Room without a Dole Whip in hand. Never. :)

I'm being serious, Hot Dog and a coke.

I also love:

Cinnamon Rolls from the Bakery on Main Street.

Hamburgers from any of the fast food places in the park.

I also had Spaghetti I liked once, but I can't remember where at.

Too much food to name, but I love the basic stuff. (That and I've never really been able to take the time to sit down and eat with my family. They always want to rush through the park. I"m going to gain so much weight this Summer when I can try all the food!) Never been to DCA so nothing from there, YET!

My favorite meal was the crispy chicken sandwich in Hollywood & Dine over in DCA before they closed that poor restaurant. I don't think there was anything special about that sandwich, but for some reason it tasted better than at any other place in the Resort.

But with Hollywood & Dine gone I prefer the chicken sandwich over at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. I love my chicken sandwiches.

The pasta in marinara sauce at the Plaza Inn is to die for! The salmon at the Blue Bayou is superb! So is the pizza in Tomorrowland.

And I know they're not full meals, but the gumbo in New Orleans and the ice cream at the cone shop on Main Street

This post and the one that inspired it caused me to choke on my Reese's peanut butter egg. I have to say, it was worth it.

Do you guys notice the the abundance of DCA meals that people enjoy? It seems like disney was actually right on the money when they said they wanted to offer slightly better food than at disneyland. I guess it paid off.

Also, i know this may be a dumb question, but i usually cant afford the blue bayou. What is a monte cristo sandwhich?
