SCHEDULE
Check In begins at 10 p.m. and ends at midnight.

Get ready to visit a galaxy far, far away one last time! After Disneyland has closed to the general public, D23 Members are invited to take an exhilarating "final flight" to the Moon of Endor before Star Tours suspends departures as it readies for its 2011 reimagining.

You will arrive at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney for your pre-boarding gathering. Guests will check in and receive their commemorative boarding pass for their trip. All guests will receive a strand of intergalactic beads (by way of New Orleans!). Enjoy a galactic beverage while mingling with fellow D23 Members and the D23 Team.

Once Disneyland has been cleared (for launch!), guests will be escorted into the park and directly into Star Tours. Bid C-3PO and R2-D2 a fond farewell as you walk past them in the pre-board area. After watching the classic 1987 safety video (love her hair!), you will enter one of the four Starspeeder 3000 vehicles where Captain Rex will welcome you one last time for your trip. We'd hope after all these flights, things will go smoothly but… we have a very bad feeling about this!

After you have safely landed, guests will be escorted back out of the park, energized to relaunch in the fall of 2011 with Star Tours: The Adventures Continue!

NOTE: Available only to D23 Members in good standing. Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest. This will be the final ride on Star Tours offered to the general public. In an effort to ensure that it is the last ride, only 160 tickets will be made available. Because Disneyland closes at midnight, we do not anticipate entering the park before 1 a.m., so please be prepared for a late night. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when reserving tickets. Tickets may be picked up only with a valid photo ID AND D23 MEMBERSHIP CARD. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card may not be admitted to the event. Ticketed Members who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. All D23 Special Events are subject to change without notice. There are no cancellations or refunds, tickets are not transferable.

Has anyone had any luck with the address for the tickets? My e-mails keep getting kicked back. I am not sure if this means they are gone or there is a clerical problem on the Disney side. My guess is the former.

Disney STILL doesn't know how to run a ticket onsale. What a JOKE!!

I'm surprised nobody else has posted about this. After 30 minutes of wasted time, they finally posted that the onsale was screwed up, and delayed.

I am having the same issue, seems to be an incorrect email address.

As many of you have noticed, we are experiencing technical difficulties. Ticket requests for this event will be available via e-mail tomorrow morning, July 15, at 10 a.m. PDT.

Great Job Disney. I now expect tomorrow to be even worse.

Do you know if they are stopping the line at 10:00? Rebel Legion and 501st are planning to meet at 11:30 (only about 20 people) and take one of the last rides as well. If so, then we need to reschedule our times.

Thanks,

Thanks,

The line will be open until the park closes at midnight. Once the park is cleared, then the D23 people will file in and get on TRULY the last ride. 4 StarSpeeders, 40 people each = 160 people get the last ride(s).

Thanks so much. We aren't fanatical about getting the VERY last ride, but would like to be within the last 1/2 hour. (of course if the entire RL and 501st showed up...there would be a few thousand people there! ROFL. :D But only a few this time. )

So, I sent my email at 10:01 and haven't gotten a response yet. A good sign, I think!

sent my email at 10:01am and once again I will not be going. I have now decide to not renew. I have not be able to go to any of the free events and most of the pay events cause they sell out to fast. So I am now none. :(

Dear DeAnna,

Thank you so much for your interest in attending D23’s Star Tours Final Flight on Monday, July 26 at the Disneyland Resort. We’re sorry but at this time, the event is sold out, and our waitlist is booked up and we will not be talking walk ups at the event.

Thank you again for being a member of D23!

Bummer Tinkerbell. This was my complaint when they asked for feedback in some survey I got. I said D23 offers really cool stuff, but if you don't live in LA or Orlando, you are out of luck.

I got the same e-mail as you, Tinker Bell. Sent my original in at 10:01 (as soon as I could copy/paste the e-mail address!). I was so hopeful! :(

I took a chance at 10:00:00 and sent an email to the old email address listed from Wednesday. I got no reply all day, but at 8:30pm, the email came through and I got a spot!!

This will be my first D23 event as I live in Seattle, and am never down there when the events are going on.

I am so very excited!!!
