I hadn't been on the monorail in ages, but we popped into the park quickly on Sunday and took the monorail from DTD. We noticed that the pre-recorded announcement was awfully loud, so much so that it was difficult for us to speak to/hear each other without speaking in a louder-than-normal voice.

Anyone else notice this?

Maybe they want the annoucements to be more important than whatever you were talking about. :)

We were talking about how loud the announcements were. ;)

You know, it actually depeds on the Monorail. I've found Orange louder than any other. Unless the driver is playing with the Volume knob. ;)

While they're at it, they could put a warning before you enter:

Warning: Bad voiceovers may induce vomiting and seizures.

(or at least post it outside Thunder and all train stations)

Over on laughing place they said its to cover the loudness of the parts falling off :P Or maybe its yet another thing thats not quite in top condition. But I am sure the monorails are 99.99% as good as they were. (tries to keep straight face)
