Details of the 2010 version of last year's very popular Summer Fun Pass have not yet been posted to the Disneyland Web site, but the terms and conditions section of the KOST World of Color contest page (http://www.kost1035.com/pages/worldofcolor/) makes mention of the new promotion. We expect Disney to formally announce the offer later this week, but here are the details we know right now:

The 2010 3-Day Summer Fun Pass is $108, $9 more expensive than the 2009 version, and offers Southern California residents (ZIP Codes 90000–93599) and Northern Baja California residents (ZIP Codes 21000–22999) three one-day admissions to either Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure within a 45 day period. The ticket is the same price for adults and children.

Unlike the 2009 offer, this ticket is NOT a park hopper, and allows admission to only one park per day. This ticket has a 45-day "fuse," (instead of the usual 13- or 30-day limit), giving you more time to plan your return visits, but has more block out dates than last year: July 2-4 and August 22-23. The first use of the pass must be between June 11 and August 29, 2010.

Last year these tickets were offered at Disneyland.com Disney Stores and at the Disneyland Resort ticket booths, as well as participating Vons, Albertsons, Ralphs, Stater Bros., Food 4 Less and Gelsons grocery stores; Toys ‘R’ Us stores; and Dearden’s stores. We haven't heard where the 2010 tickets will be sold, but expect to find them at retails which already sell Disneyland park admission.

To compare ticket prices:

Disneyland Resort Summer Fun Pass - 3 Days, $108 (45 day fuse, valid 6/11 - 8/29)
3-Day Park Hopper Bonus Ticket - $154/$184 when purchased in advance from Disneyland.com. (13 day fuse, valid through 1/2/11)
Park Hopper Bonus Ticket 5-days for the price of 3 - $154/$184 when purchased in advance from Disneyland.com. (13 day fuse, valid through 9/30/10)

If the no-park-hopping restriction doesn't bother you, this is a great deal. If you want to be able to park hop, you'll pay $76 per adult for that option, but you can also get an extra 2 days free if you book online and plan to use all 5 admissions within a 13-day window.

Anaheim, Calif. (May 19, 2010) – The sun is out, but don’t sweat it! The Disneyland Resort is offering the Summer Pass (valid for use June 11 – August 29, 2010), an exclusive theme park ticket at a value price for Southern California and Northern Baja residents to experience the breathtaking entertainment of “Summer Nightastic!”

Summer Pass is good for three park visits to either Disneyland park or Disney’s California Adventure park (one park per day) within a 45-day period, for residents residing in zip codes 90000 through 93599, and 21000- 22999. For $108, or $36 per visit, guests will enjoy three fun-filled summer days and nights at the Disneyland Resort. For an additional $21, local residents can upgrade their Summer Pass to a Summer Pass Plus, a 3-day Park Hopper ticket that allows guests to visit both parks on the same day. This exclusive offer is available for use June 11 to August 29. Tickets are blocked out from July 2 - July 4, 2010 and August 22 – August 23, 2010.

Since the first use of the pass must be between June 11 and August 29, it’s just the ticket for local residents to experience Summer Nightastic!, a radiant lineup of nighttime spectacles that make the Disneyland Resort the place to be this summer.

At Disney’s California Adventure park, the new “World of Color” water show will astound guests with animation, lights, lasers, fire, music and dazzling special effects that deliver Disney storytelling like never before. The stars of the show are powerful, playful fountains that reach up to 200 feet high.

Over at Disneyland, “Fantasmic!” – hosted by Sorcerer Mickey – ignites summer evenings with explosive pyrotechnics, powerful lasers, and a fire-breathing dragon. In addition, “Magical,” the fireworks spectacular, illuminates the sky overhead nightly as Dumbo the flying elephant magically soars over Sleeping Beauty Castle. Guests will also join Tinker Bell in an illuminated Pixie Hollow and tear up the dance floor in Tomorrowland at TLT Dance Club.
