Finally, after going to Disneyland since it opened, this coming Firday night (March 14th) I am finally going to have dinner at Club33. :) I can harldy wait. And I will be at the Park all day on Friday which is a change from my usual Sundays. I want to ride the "New" Matterhorn, The "New/Old" Small World, see the new carrousel and see Aladdin (and hopefully video tape it all). I will file a full report upon my return. I am so excited! :D

LostBoy.... I'm so excited for you! I know you'll take tons of pictures to share with us all....I had hoped to celebrate Brandys 21st there but her dad's accident and then his illness made that impossible.... some day tho... some day!

Whenever I see threads on Club 33, I think they are about trying to get to eat there. This is of course, against MP policy. And have lots of fun a Club 33.

Congrad, LB. I puke with envy :D

Without violating the solicitation policy, care to tell us how you got it? Though a friend? Etc? ;)

You should have the time of your life there at "The Club". Look out a window while you are eating. The peasants below waving back will be the rest of us.;)

I haven't been to Club 33, but a good friend of mine in Riverside has a deal there w/his company and has extended an open invite to us for our next trip. I can't wait. Have fun Lost Boy.

Ah, Lost Boy, you will have a ball. Too bad Fantasmic will not be happening, but be sure to adjourn to the balcony for the fireworks (then back to the dining room for dessert and perhaps another cocktail or two!)

Can't talk to much about it now, but I will post after it's over. I don't think they allow picture taking or video taping up there. And I will be there Friday, not Saturday. It's supposed to rain all day Saturday and Sunday, so I am glad we are going Friday. A friend of mine is going with me as we are sort of celebrating our 10th year of friendship after meeting at the opening of Fantasmic in March. So we met at Disneyland 10 years ago and have been the best of friends in all things Disney (but mostly The Park!) and this dinner at the most exclusive place in The Park, will be a very nice way to celebrate a 10th "Anniversary".:)

awww Lost Boy..... that is so wonderful.. but I've seen pictures from there before? Please, take your cameras ... if it's against the rules, they'll just sit there quietly while you enjoy dinner... if it's not then whooo hoooo we can live thru your visit!

I have seen pictures, but only those that had permission as they were doing a story for the Club and had to get all kinds of signed agreements that the pictures would not be used fo any other purposes. I know there was a whole bunch some time ago posted on the web, with permission or something. Since I have the camera with me anyway, I will ask when me meet in the morning to get our tickets to the Park. That's one of the perks of getting invited as a guest to Club 33, you get a free one day Park Hopper Pass. So if you figure that you pay $50 to $60 for dinner, and you get a free pas worth $47 addmission, you are only paying $25 or so for the dinner. Of course, if you have an AP you can't do the tricky math, but since my Pass ran out last week, it works out just fine for me.

I have lots of pictures we took in C33. In fact, C33 CMs took pictures for us so we could be in them!

Here (http://www.mouseplanet.com/potties/club33.html) are some of the pictures we took. :)

There is nothing in the membership rules against taking pictures. Take all that you want! The only time they request that pictures not be taken is on the special events. Which is understandable when you consider that those are all behind-the-scenes stuff.

On a side note, I'd like to thank the administrators of this message board for doing such a bang up job on eliminating requests - it's greatly appreciated.

Fab, you'll be there? Time/Place? I'll be having lunch @ the Bayou, wanna join? :D

Lost Boy

I think trying to pay for lunch at the Bayou and then very expensive (for me anyway) dinner at Club 33 would be pushing my wallet just a tad too far. I think my friend and I will find someplace cheap, probably outside the Park) for lunch. I still want money left to buy some Club 33 sounvineers.

And thanks to you all for the kind words and letting me know about pictures. Mmm. I guess I will have to drag out the old still camera and get some film.:D

Souveniers? Wow, do tell!!

And yes I sure hope you take pictures and then maybe give us a link to some? I would really enjoy to see Club 33 from your eyes, a true Disney Fan.

the closest I'll ever get to C33 is ebay :(

MammaSilva
03-13-2003, 10:16 PM
nah you can get closer than that.. go stand by the door and have someone take your picture :) (we actually got a 'fast/quick peek once as a guest was entering.....the CM holding the door was a sweetie and let us peek in...for a brief moment.. we actually got to see the elevator.... it was a thrilling moment... and I have been in the kitchen of C33! If you have a wheelchair and want to go to the gallery they take you up the private elevator and escort you thru the kitchen and out onto a balcony then into the courtyard area right outside the gallery.....

Lost Boy - I'll see you there - tonight.

I blanked on my reservations. Mine are at 5:30 - I'm wearing a pink dress with roses tonight and will be with a big group of people from Country Bear Playhouse. Jim Hill's there tonight too - come over and say hello!
