For those who have been stuck near the giant sun waiting for friends and family to show up ....

Can anyone tell me (in order) the DCA Sunshine Plaza song loop?
Bonus points for naming the singers :)

Hmm, that music gets annoying so fast.

You need someone to help you make better decisions on where to wait for people.

I'VE never had to wait there, luckily -- I wait at the winery :)

And yes, I agree that its annoying, but we've all heard it so much that we don't even really notice it anymore....which is why I'm testing your powers of listening;)

OK I did the math and after being there for two years and figuring every day I had an 8 hour shift 5 days a week I worked 4160 hours. With a length of about 45 mins before it restarts i have listened to the DCA Main Entrance music 5546 TIMES!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I still can't tell you what the lineup is.

But how do you know where the start is since you want them in order?:~D

All I know is that whenever I enter the Sunshine Plaza Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." is playing. I tried to figure out exactly when, and when I arrive at about 2:50 it seems to almost always be playing. Although, this is very far from the entire lineup, and it doesn't help you all that much, so I'm not quite sure why I posted it.

Carry on then.

Well there are a lot of songs like "Do you know the way to San Jose", the one about Catalina Island (might be called "Catalina), "California Dreaming, and so on.:~D

One of the songs that plays quite frequently is "Hollywood Nights" by Bob Seger.

It seems like, its Do you know the way to San Jose, I love LA, Hollywood Nights, The Catalina Island one (26 miles across the sea maybe?) and a couple of Beach Boys ones. I know there are more but I cant think right now.

This is funny, when we walked through the Plaza yesterday, I specifically listened to see what songs were playing. As we arrived at DCA I hear, I Love LA. As we left, I heard, I Love LA.

Rock on Flubber!
Bonus Points AND a Gold Star :)

I wish they'd release a CD just of those songs .... but I guess there might be a "rights" issue if they did.

My husband was looking for a CD with these songs when we were at the park this weekend, so I agree it would be great if they had one. I just sent the list to my mom to see if she has any of these, I'm willing to bet she has at least half of these songs if not more.

Just make one.

For some odd reason, whenever I go in there, Surfn' USA is playing. The odd things is that I might enter when it is just ending, then go by a churro (feed me churros!) and come back just to hear it start again. Strange, huh

Yes, and every time I hear "California Sun" by the Rivieras, I always think about how much better that Hammond riff would sound played on a real organ (i.e., the kind with pipes).:D
