LOL, we wish! We can barely get cellular coverage!
(You'd think DL would offer to put a cellular antenna on top of Maliboomer for a little extra $, wouldn't you?)

There was a thread sometime ago about whether 802.11b existed at the park. I think there is some type of coverage, although very likely passworded to public clients.
Guess your best bet is just to hop over to ::shudder:: Innoventions.

I believe there was a discussion about this before. I recall it saying there is 802.11 in the park but it is used by the ODV registers to communicate with the network for credit card verifications.

Couldn't be. Outdoor Vending dosn't have registers or credit card verification. Outdoor Ventures has registers but they are hard wired. I believe the fruit carts are wired as well.

Using NetStumbler (http://www.netstumbler.com/) and a Linksys 802.11b card in my laptop last September, I was unable to find any access points at all. Whether I could have obtained an IP address and gotten out through Disney's proxy to the internet is another matter entirely.
I may try again in April, depending on the stupid "alert" status (if they start requiring personal electronics to be powered up and working as in airports, I probably won't bother).

Pfft... Disney won't even let actual hardwired computers in the resort out onto the internet, let along .11* clients :)

Maybe some Starbucks do, but not all of them. And not all of the newer ones either. I use to hang out in a new Starbucks a couple years ago with my labtop - no wireless connection there.
However, I think I've heard stories of people going into the park with their PDA and picking up signals? Maybe not.
They do have some band over in WDW - for their new toy games that activate while you're in the queue, yes?

Starbucks have T-Mobile Hot Spots, I think they require a subscription.
