View Full Version : Any hopes of an early "soft" opening of Small World next week?

We are contemplating a quick hop down next week but I see that IASW is closed until Friday. My son is obsessed with IASW so going without that or the Matterhorn is a no go. I see that the Matterhorn is scheduled to go down the next week for 6 weeks so hopefully that will not go down early.

Any insight? Just hoping it could open Wednesday or Thursday & we could luck out ;)

More than likely not, it is already on a very tight schedule, being closed today to remove the holiday overlay.

And unless something major happens, the Matterhorn will not close early.

Given that they do this every eyar it seems they'd know pretty well how long it takes.

I can't see how. Today was the first day it was closed, and they hadn't removed a single light bulb or wreath, and the exit tunnel was clearly still snow covered.

Thanks everyone :) I'm hoping that we are going to go Tuesday-Friday so he could ride IASW on Friday.

According to the "entertainment schedule" the Matterhorn is down 2/1-3/11.
