View Full Version : Sleeping Beauty's Castle looks a little cheap this year

I think the addition of the ice with the orbs that light up is a good idea but the execution was very poor. If you casually look up, you will notice they are visibly off center. In the attached photo, look at one of the peaks towards the right.

Sloppy.

I love it!! It's dripping with beauty, but that's just my humble opinion.;)

When I look at the spire to the far right (or left), all I can see is barrel distortion from a camera lens... And the angle of the shot makes it look as if everything is leaning back and towards the center.

This was my third year in a row and I think the castle is as beautiful as it has ever been. It is simply stunning and takes my breathe away when I see it. I will try and post our Christmas card once the DH is done creating it.

I clipped the Disneyland on-line entertainment schedule, and this is what is listed:
***
Wintertime Enchantment Holiday Lighting, Sleeping Beauty Castle
5:00 p.m. to 5:10 p.m.
5:15 p.m. to 5:25 p.m.
5:30 p.m. to 5:35 p.m.
7:30 p.m. to 7:35 p.m.
***
I have not been to DL since the Christmas decorations.

Q. Why is the lighting up of Sleeping Beauty Castle split into quarters?
Why do some lightings take 10 minutes (e.g., 5:00 - 5:10), and some lighting take 5 minutes (e.g., 7:30 - 7:35)?
