My mother was recalling, (now keep in mind, she is 70, so she may have her facts mixed up) when my family went to DL for the first time in the early 60's, there was a guest book you could sign at city hall. Does anyone else remember this? It was before I was born, so I have no idea. Also, if there was one (or is one), what became of it? Just curious!
Thanks!

We signed the guest book regularly when it was located in the photo shop,
last mercantile on the right as you walked Main St. to the castle. This would be around 1987 for a few years.

The last time I saw it, a couple years ago, it was in the entryway to the Opera House. Don't know if it's still there or if it will still be there when the Opera House reopens.

Wasn't it in with the 50th movie until recently?

When I went as a teenager, we signed it every year...I had completely forgotten about it until you brought it up!! I'm gonna ask and find out where it's at....I'll report back here next week with (hopefully) the answer!!

Thanks for bringing back a memory!!

I wish they still had it around. I would love to sign it and be a part of history.:(

They replace the books now and then as they fill up, so you may not find it there on your next visit.

This leaves me to wonder if they save those books or throw them away.

We were lucky enough to open the park in Oct & they put our name in that book. Is that maybe what they do now instead?
