Hello,

Does anybody know where they sell the shortbread cookies that are shaped like Mickey Mouse? My coworker would like me to pick some up for her next weekend on my trip but I am not sure where to look and what the cost is.

Please advise

awwwwww...one of my favorite treats! They come in a red plaid box, they are "mickey shorts" shaped and are a steal at only about $5. You can find them around the park, but they always have them in the food shops on Main Street. I usually bring them home, but on a chilly day I have been known to get a cup of coffee and enjoy 1 or 2 in the park...

They are not $5.00 anymore. I bought two boxes in October they are now $6.99 a box.

I think the small ones in the wrapper (only 2 cookies) are $1.00. Maybe $2.00. A good snack but I guess not a great gift.

Mmm, Shortbread Shorts. Mickey's shorts, so "wrong," yet so tasty!

Buy them in Marcelines in Downtown Disney and save yourself the sales tax.

 Huh? I never noticed. You say they don't charge sales tax at Marceline?

Yes, Marcelines and World of Disney sell FOOD (not taxed in CA) while the parks sell souveniers which are taxable.

I believe they are still taxed because they are pre-packaged.

You can buy them at the coffee shop on Main St (Not Blue Ribbon Bakery - the one stright across Main St from there)

I bought a 2-pack of cookies and Marceline's today, and I was no taxed. They only had the buttons, and not the shorts.

Then I bought a pack inside the park (Market House, the coffee place on Main St.) and was taxed. They also did not have the shorts or the buttons, only chocolate chip shortbread in the 2-pack.

They cost $1.95 now. Not as sweet of a deal, but a good snack while I was doing Muppet Labs.
