On Sunday evening, Nov. 17th, I made a special trip, rushing like crazy from MK to MGM, in order to catch the East Coast Fantasmic. (It seems that my having taken the late Animation tour on a previous night kept me from making it to the Fantasmic entrance before it was roped off).
Having seen both versions of Fantasmic, I think I like ours better overall. I think, overall, it's a stronger show. But I do really like some of the extended mist-screen sequences in the Florida version, as well as the way they managed to incorporate references to a few more films, and I wouldn't mind one bit if some of the stronger elements of the Florida Fantasmic were inserted in place of some of the weaker elements of ours.
