I am sooooo happy! I went to WDW this summer and took my dd to the BBB. She just loved it to death, she is 4. I hate Libby Lu and just wished that we had a BBB here, and now we are getting one! I am going to let her get "boutiqued" again, just because we can! This is a must for little girls, dads-be prepared to kiss your money good bye!

Can someone tell me how this is different from PFF? Don't they already do makeovers and hair there?

Where will it be... and will the kids look less like Bratz bobbleheads when they are done than they do at CLL?
Personally, I forbade my daughter from even asking to do Libby Lu... not gonna let my 7 year old walk around with more make-up than me!!

We have had 2 make-overs at WDW BBB, and we have had a few at Libby Lu (locally) and I have to say, it all depends on which make over your little princess asks for.

The "princess" type make-overs are pretty much what you would expect. If they start getting into rock-diva princess make-overs, look out. There is no telling what they will turn out like.

BBB is opening in Feb. 2009 in the castle. It will be replacing the current Tinkerbell shop. The make-overs are a bit more tame compared to Libby Lu for the rock diva choice. They also offer a nice photo option if you would like. My dd really enjoyed it and I thought that it was well done. I think that Libby Lu goes a little bit too much over the top.
BTW, BBB will be offering Hannah Montana make-overs as well as princess. HTH!

Libby Lu did a Hannah Montana make over too. I thought it was goofy looking. We did not do it. I saw girls who had it. Maybe BBB will be better. I still think Disney is going a little over the top with it. Seems more of a shameless way to make more $$$. Flame away.

Anything that is related to little girls that involves the term "rock diva" I do not agree with. Something about putting gratuitous make up on little girls makes me just really sad. I think make overs should be left to daytime talk shows. Maybe it's just me though....

I think they should have a way to let us grown-ups get the Jessica Rabbit or Esmerelda look.... :)

Yeah! I'd be down for that. I know my DH wouldn't mind....I think he's got a think for Jasmine, actually. Hmm...mommie makovers!

I don't think Libby Lu do's are over the top! I took my daughter when she was 5 and then we had a huge party there in August for her 9th birthday followed by a "fashion photo shoot" at Penney's Portraits. Took her and 5 friends and none of them looked over made-up. In my opinion, it's more about the glitter and the hair-do. A few chose rock diva and few chose ones that I don't remember the names of and they all got their fingernails painted and then glitter sprinkled on top of the wet polish, lip gloss, the lightest smattering of pink eyeshadow and then some glitter sticker somewhere on their face and then fancy schmancy hair-dos with glitter sprinkled over them. The first picture shows close-up of my DD...

Those pics are too cute. Not over the top at all. I wish I could give my DD a few of those fun hairdo's for school.:)
