I'm designing a mural for one wall of my room. I think I want to do a New Orleans Square theme......

with a pirate ship in a body of water, and on land the Haunted Manison hidden behind swamp brush/trees......

any suggestion on what else I should do, I think I want it to cover a whole wall...........

and I think above my door I want to make a skeleton head, like the one that talks to you on The Pirates of the Carribean....

would love input............

thanks

Pick your favorite scene from Potc and paint it (auctioneer scene, for example)

If you have an unbroken blank wall, you may want to paint that scene, then place your bed at the base of the "tunnel" to the next room, like a boat.

I know I've said this before.... Morrigoon, you have such a wonderful imagination. If I needed to redecorate (or had the money to) I would bring you to San Diego and you could have carte blanche.

That is a good idea Morrigoon, I will think about that. I think I will include the dog, with the jail cell keys in his mouth.

You know what would be neat, if you could prevent it from looking tacky? Get a picture of one of the hitch-hiking ghosts, go to a place like Kinkos and copy it on transparent paper/cellophane and stick it to a mirror in your room, like window tinting for cars. I'm really not sure how else you could do it, but there has to be a way.

You could put him next to the door :)

I'd pick the opening scene with the cedar trees, fireflies, swamp animals, moon and shack. I think that sets such a great mood for the whole ride and is one of my favorite scenes in the park. And you could have a lit of fun making the mural come alive.

Here's what it could look like... I hope you can paint better than I can, though.http://home.earthlink.net/~threepwood/hauntedmansionposterthumb.gif (http://home.earthlink.net/~threepwood/haunted%20mansion%20poster.gif)
