I thought Philharmagic was already announced to be coming to DCA, in the Tough to Be a Bug theatre, I think?

At a time I think it was rumored to go in for Muppets ... TTBAB would need a serious theming overhaul. The queue for Philhrmagic at WDW is pretty understated...

If this indeed true, I'm in dire need of a "Praise the Lord!" smiley :D

I think you're right, it's replacing Muppets, but in any case, it's already slated so doesn't need to go into Disneyland.

I found the source: wikipedia said is is closing Sept. 2008 -- however, anyone can access the page and change it.

I thought the last we heard was that Philharmagic could not go into the Muppet 3D Theatre without a major and costly overhaul to the theatre

That's what I remember reading too.

I had to go look it up on Wikipedia and it was kind of weird that it showed DLs as closing Sep 4, 2008. It was the only park to have a closing date for it too. Maybe it was just someone's wishful thinking that if they put the date that it would actually happen ;).

I would LOVE to see Philharmagic come to DLR. Ever since the first time I watched it some years ago, I can't go to DL without blurting out, "I could sure go for some Philharmagic right about now" at some point.

That show always gives me a much-needed boost of energy, cause it's so darn relaxing and wonderful.

When we visited Florida, Mickey's Philharmagic was my favorite attraction. But I really like It's tough to be a bug so I hope MP comes to CA, but doesn't replace TTBAB.

I love sitting in the back row and watching everyone's reaction if it's their first time.--especially at the end when the "worms" are crawling under the seats. :)

Thanks to whomever reverted the Wikipedia article. I was just on my way over to do it, much as I wish the rumor was true...

No, it's right now. Someone put the date in, someone else removed it, and that was it. I'll keep an eye on it and lock the article if need be, but it was probably just a one-time thing.

Never trust wikipedia, unless it has a source to back it up. if it doesn't, it should be reverted.

You might need to clear your browser's cache to see the correct version. I reverted it a second time yesterday and temporarily locked the article to prevent anonymous editing. Nobody has touched it since then.
