Last night around 9:30, while relaxing in my bedroom, I swear I heard faint booms. I told my husband I think it was the DL fireworks. He says no,(that I have disney on the brain) I say yes. Any locals out there that can confirm this? I live in Long Beach, about 25 miles west of DL.
I can hear the Queen Mary blowhorn also but he can't. Maybe its him:D

I hear them in Cypress, pretty loud, with the windows closed. I am around the corner from Long Beach so it is a good possibility!

I was watching the HoJo Mattercam last night at 9:26 and was surprised to see a single burst!:) I was hoping to see more, but the cam moved away from that direction.:(

For everyone in my family (Yorba Linda, Fullerton, and Placentia) those nightly booms let us know it's about 9:30. The sound carries for many miles.

I hear them almost every night they run at my home in the Orange hills. The sound level varies based on the weather--clouds/no clouds, etc.

I've come to the belief that I am a Fireworks Show jinx. I have never seen the current show because every time I'm at DLR at night the show is cancelled.

So now I'm leaving before showtime as to not ruin the experience for others.

I live across the street from CSULB. I can hear the fireworks quite well. They are my alarm clock to turn off the computer for the night.

When I was growing up we could see and hear the Sea World fireworks from our back porch every night from memorial day to labor day!

It's how I knew it was 9:50pm

I work nights in Newport Beach, near John Wayne Airport, and I can hear the fireworks on some nights when I am outside on break.

We too hear them most nights from the upstairs bedrooms. We in on the top of the hill in Belmont Heights, Long Beach.

My aunt lived in Garden Grove when I was growing up and whenever we would visit we would always go out to the front yard and watch the fireworks. It is one of my favorite memories of going to her house :). I remember being sad when we would visit in off season and they weren't being shown :(.

We used to watch from my mom's backyard in Garden Grove. Until the trees got too big. I occasionally hear them in Yorba Linda.
