Whilst at the Park last night, I noticed some new stuff at Le Bat en Rouge.

Outside, there are two new (to me, at least) "figures" (for lack of a better term). One is a bag of nightmarish toys and the other is a set of busts featuring Jack Skellington, Sally (does she have a last name?), and Maleficent. Each statue/figure/thing is about three feet across and maybe four or five feet tall. Pretty cool looking I must say.

Inside there is more Nightmare merchandise. Both Jack and Sally now have bobbleheads. On the Sally, both her head and arm move (independently). There's also a HMH snowglobe with Jack in the globe topped by Zero all sitting on the "decked-out" mansion. A NBC metal lunch box is now available. There's probably more new NBC stuff, but that's all I noticed. I took pictures of the new stuff, but I was too tired to suck them out of my camera when I got home last night. I'll post them this evening.

Tucked in one of the coffin displays were two CDs by a group called Midnight Syndicate (http://www.midnightsyndicate.com/). Does anyone know why these CDs are being sold there? The MS Web site indicates they are a Goth band, but why did Disney choose to sell these amongst all the Goth bands out there? Did MS do some work on HMH or something?
No, it doesn't bother me that the CDs are being sold there, I'm just curious.

Ah let's hear it for the end of the dock strike!

I'm quite disappointed about a couple of facts regarding the merchandise. 1) still no cool skulls! I wants me a skull! This one (http://members.tripod.com/~The_Blue_Torpedo/skull.html) to be precise. 2) There are two shirts that feature just Jack, sans Santa gear. One is the "Bone Daddy" t-shirt with Jack in that STUPID "gangsta" pose. I refuse to buy that shirt, it's lame. The second is the very, very lovely 100% polyester button up shirt that shows Jack with some flaming jack-o-lanterns. It's awsome, but it's $56  I wish there were a different Jack-only t-shirt :(

Goulish, what about the long-sleeved hoodie that sports Jack's head in rhinestones? I thought that one was pretty cool, and a nice departure from their regular offerings.

(Please tell me it's still there, SzczerbiakManiac, along with the Jack-head lights. I'm hoping to take both of them home with me this weekend!)

I don't remember (one way or the other) if the long-sleeved hoodie is there, but the strings of Jack lights were in stock last night.

I saw these last night, too, and I was really taken aback because they are sooooooooo cool! How sad that I was surprised to see something nice at Dland that isn't going to directly generate any revenue for them...

In any event, I was kicking myself for not having a camera, because I must get a pic with the Maleficent figure! It is really gorgeous. I will definitely be bringing a camera with me this weekend.:D

They're not really rhinestones a la Dolly Parton's stage wear! More like... crystals.

(I now just realized that I mixed up Goulish with Cadaverous. Oops. ;))

Here are the snow globe and bobbleheads I mentioned:
http://www.dantasyland.com/disney/JackGlobe.jpg http://www.dantasyland.com/disney/JackSallyBobbles.jpg
I'd estimate the globe to be about 10 inches tall and the bobbles at 8 inches tall.

So nobody has any info on Midnight Syndicate huh? Oh well....

Thanks! I will go and see what I can find!!

Sometimes we call our Chickie 'Sally' {always have} and I don't know why.......

It isn't her name. :o

But, I'd like to get her the bobble head.

On another note, I wanted to get the one "Sally only" shirt, the one in a girly cut, but they only had Large and Extra Large. :( Oh well, got a cool shirt anyway! I was thinking of getting the "rhinestone" Jack but wanted Sally.
