I have beentrying to get infomation on DVC, and keep getting told that they can not send me anything because I live in BC Canada. Does anyone know why this is or if the rule are going to be changing in the near future? I am also wondering if there is somewhere I can go to get info on how DCV works

By chance, have you tried the "Contact Us (http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/guest/contact/contactOptionsLanding?id=ProspectsContactUsPage)" page on their web site? I know that there are many Canadians that own and enjoy DVC membership.

Of course, if you have any specific questions, feel free to drop them here. :) We can help you out as well.

We've had a number of Canadian clients say they had trouble buying directly from Disney. I've never been told why this perception exists, but I'll check with our DVC rep to see if I can find out something.. You can always check with a resale organization to get some basic info.. It won't include all the pretty cartoons- but will give you some good info to start with!

I have tried the contact us and as told that because of where I live they can not send me anythng but they are able to sell me a membership if i was at the park. I am just wondering how it ork and the approx cost. I am not very familar with how time shares work, and does DVC work the same way.

Here's the link to an article (http://www.mouseplanet.com/articles.php?art=mm070306atp) Tony wrote a little over a year ago about DVCs. I think it has some of the basics in them. Also, if you look through some of the threads on this forum, you might find some other good nuggets of info.
