I'm not sure when this actually opened but I hadn't heard anything about it until a random thought caused me to check the Earl of Sandwich Web site (http://www.earlofsandwichusa.com/) to see if they'd expanded out of Florida yet. Imagine my surprise when I found a location (http://www.earlofsandwichusa.com/contact/locator.php) in Santa Clarita (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=24802+Orchard+Village+Road,+Valencia+CA+913 55&ie=UTF8&ll=34.382192,-118.53879&spn=0.034213,0.062828&z=14&iwloc=addr)!

(For the uninitiated: Earl of Sandwich has a location at Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney, where it provides an excellent balance between low price and good comfort food. Try the tomato soup.)

Any chance that they will soon be expanding north of the border? Like, much north? We Canadians would love some EoS up here!

This is definitely on my "must-try" list when we're in Florida later this summer.

...and imagine my surprise to find it's just down the street from where I work.
I've never heard of it, but since it comes MP-recommended and it's so close, how can I pass it up? ;)
Thanks, Andrew.

I've been getting coupons for it here at home. For those of you who need a "fix" between WDW trips and are heading south on the 5, get off at Lyons, go left. It's in the shopping center on the northeast corner of Lyons and Orchard Village Road. There is a Ralph's in the parking lot. It's probably a 5 minute trip down Lyons from the freeway if you hit the lights right.

Be sure to let us know how it goes! The WDW Downtown Disney location is one of my favorite on-property places.
