View Full Version : An on the spot decision to visit a DVC resort?

I am interesting in finding out what was the shortest time a DVC member decided to visit one of the DVC resorts (including VB and HH), made the phone call, and received a reservation. In other words, has anyone made an on the spot decision to visit and was successful? Was it two weeks, three weeks, two months, or what?

Thanks for any answers.

Assuming that you mean the shortest time to make a reservation for a stay, I have known people to make same-day reservations. But your choices are obviously (sometimes very) limited. This was for people who were already on-site and wanted to extend their stay by a day or two.

When we first became members last Aug. we were going to try to extend things a day or two (beyond our POR stay) and there was availability. However it was a GV over at OKW. A little overkill. :)
