We were on the ride around 10am and it stopped. We were between the bedroom and treasure room. We sat for quite awhile and finally we were escorted off the ride. When the lights were turned on, I noticed to the left of me a wooden looking chest on the rocks! Would never of seen it before!

We had to climb back stairs and saw Castmember lockers and what looked like a break room. It was exciting!!! We were also given a readmission pass for later for any ride!!

Heading back out! IT'S HOT HERE!!!!

We were escorted off of Splash Mountain once, and I wanted to be funny...because you know either you end up with new friends or people think you are crazy and you get your space.

Okay, anyway ,people kept asking where we were going and I said "They are going to pay us off so we don't tell people what the back of the ride looks like"...only a few people thought that was funny...THEN I said "either that or they are going to use us as part of the experiment", only the CM laughed. Needless to say I got my space that day....sigh.

Haha I would have laughed at your jokes Infinitely. And neato to the OP! It's a small dream of mine to be escorted off of Indy.

We've been escorted off of Pooh and Roger Rabbit. With RR were were near the end anyway so we didn't get to see much with the lights on. With Pooh we saw quite a bit. Unfortunately it lost some of the magic after seeing it with lights on since a lot of the illusion is done with black lights.

My 4 year old son and I were escourted off Splash Mtn. around the 26th or 27th of March. We got stuck right before the last big hill. Many folks got pics standing next to some of the animatronics, but I had no camera. One guy started filming and when we got out the back side of the mountain a CM asked him to stop. He complied then she asked that he erase it and he said he would. Shen then said "Please do it right now". He complied. I though it was funny watching her be so persistant about it. :D
This was my first time getting escourted off a ride.

We've been escorted off of Alice & Roger Rabbit. We were able to get a picture in Alice, but in RR we were told that pictures are not allowed... The CM was very polite about it. We were pretty far in... and it seems like we had to walk on some planks or something in some areas. My DD was really sad to have 2 rides go down on the same trip, but yes, like jazzysmom, I thought it was kind of cool!

How long were you on POTC before you were escorted out? We were stuck by the dog with the keys for about 45 mins with a hungry infant...they never even turned on the lights for us. I was bummed.

A few years ago we got stuck on SM. My kids always stay, "We were stuck by the bear's bottom." ;) I got a pic of my kids and DH standing on the side where they told us to wait. Then when we were going out the back I tried to film and was told to stop. It was just the back of a building and it smelled like stinky trash. Kind of ruined the magic. I prefer not to get stuck because I don't want to see how things work. That is one reason why I wouldn't want to work there. I think it would just ruin it for me.

SandyMarie, you saw where I worked all last summer! :D I can't tell you how many times I walked those corridors. And how I freaked out the first time I heard Davy Jones from the stock room...

TTFN, I loved working there. It really didn't ruin the magic, but maybe made me appreciate it more. You get to see some of the hard work and secrets that hide what guests shouldn't see (i.e. the boring/dirty stuff backstage).

I was on Autopia with my 4-year-old niece when some kid decided to jump out of his car mid-ride and run away. Everyone had to stop immediately, and castmembers came by and turn off everyone's engines.

We sat there for only about 10 minutes but it was an extremely hot day. Luckily, we were stopped under a bridge, but people in other cars were complaining very loudly that their children were baking in the sun without hats or water. Castmembers had bigger problems to worry about, namely, that this kid would climb somewhere much more dangerous than the Autopia track, like the Monorail track.

They finally had us get out of the cars and follow them backwards on the tracks to the entrance. They gave my niece and I five special fastpass tickets each, which were good for four or five people each! As we were walking out, we saw Disneyland Security swarming the place with dogs. All rides in the area had to be stopped, including the monorail.

My niece and I really enjoyed the special walking tour of the tracks, but my brother and sister-in-law were frantic, worried we got hurt on the ride or something!
