Great Barrier Reef™ at Boomerang Bay is now open! Enjoy the 355,000 gallon wave pool located at Boomerang Bay Beach Club, the Australian inspired water park inside Great America. The ride combines the exhilaration and feel of real ocean waves without the sand. Great Barrier Reef™ wave pool adds an additional two acres to Boomerang Bay, totaling roughly thirteen acres of water park within Great America! For the comfort and convenience of guests, Great America has also added new cabanas around the wave pool. So, come float, swim or just chill out in Boomerang Bay’s newest attraction!
