Candlelight Processional

I just read on another message board site that they have heard information that the Processional is going to be the weekend of the 10th... You all seem to be much more reliable than some of the other sites I read, so can you tell me if you have heard anything?!? And if not when do they usually annouce this information?

Thanks

For some reason I have December 2nd-5th listed on my calendar. I think I got the dates from a DL Weekly Update, but I can't find it now. Maybe AVP can confirm it?

Has anyone heard anything on dinner packages yet? I just found out my sweet hubby has arranged for us to go on that day, something I thought wasn't possible due to conflicting schedules. I'm so excited!!! I saw the processional last year standing up, and would love to get actual tickets this year if they offer them!!

dining still has no info. i found that in the past the shows have been at something like 5:30 & 8pm. So I wonder if making dinner reservations at 4pm would give us enough time to make it? Otherwise is the 8pm show too late to make it to the 10:30 Fantasmic!? Thanks again

In case it wasn't my post on another board that you read...

We heard today from a source that Candlelight would be on the weekend of December 10, but the information isn't confirmed.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess the person I heard it from had been given the wrong information.

Why is it taking so long to get official details for this years Candlelight Processional in the first place? I don't recall it coming so late in past years. Epcot has had their info out for almost two months now (admittedly, its a much bigger event).

I think they're lots of people waiting to plan their trip around this event and would like to know the details (date, time, place, cost, celeb host, dining packeges, etc, etc)...

Disneyland doesn't consider the Candlelight Processional to be a public event, so they are pretty much always slow at releasing details about it. This year doesn't strike me as being at all unusual.

Yes, it is only a little more than two months away, and have they even announced the Grand Marshall yet?

It feels like they are having a hard time getting everything finalized.

I'm not going but I'd like to know who it's gonna be.

Then again, I'd also like to know the schedule for December which they haven't got up yet either.

Why are they having such a hard time? IMHO
