Mrs. Stupid's InspEARations Site

Mrs made up a site that might be of interest to those who might not get the chance to catch the "InspEARation" exhibit at DCA.

We didn't catch all the Mickeys; some are "backstage, and we lost count!
But, most are here.

Someday, we may even match artists with Mickeys.

The file is quite large (4+ megs), so it will take a while to load.
But, once loaded, it flys!

Enjoy InspEARations

Great gallery! The majority of these are pretty cool, but some are them are awful. One was downright disturbing....

We're going to head back soon and try to match artists with Mickeys.
I'm not sure, but I think that might be Rosie O's.

I am truly disturbed by the one called "Reflections of Mickey." This was the DISNEYLAND RESORT'S ART DEPARTMENT offering. One would think they could have come up with something more creative than spray painting Mickey silver!?!

Hey, that's a great site!

I have a question... Are the Mickeys mostly in the same area? There are a few specific ones I want to see, and I'm wondering if they'll be hrd to find

MousePlanet has also been running a series of photos of these statues in the Weekly Park Update since January 17th. We're showing a dozen or so each week:

Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4

All 75 (ok, the 73 that are still on stage) have been photographed and will appear in the Park Update before the conclusion of the exhibit.

Thanks from the Mrs.!

They move them a little, from time to time.
They're mostly from the entrance to DCA, straight back to Sunshine Plaza, then down between Golden State and Bug's Life, to the Golden State Park area.

There's a bunch at Sunshine Plaza and Golden State Park.

Fantastic photos, Adrienne! Thanks for sharing them with us. How long will they be on display? Does anyone know? I suppose they'll be long gone by the time I get there on May 1.

Those are stupid Mr. Great, I mean great Mr. Stupid! I really loved that gallery. When we were therein December we got pics with a couple of them. One of them looked like a snowman made out of sand.

Thank you so much for all the hard work!

That's exactly what I said (OK, right after I said "Heck, I coulda done that!"). If that's the best the creative art department could come up with, the're in trouble!
