Thumbs up MouseFest: Who's going?

OK, it's just over two months away, but WDW trips are usually planned this far in advance so the question is fair game. MouseFest is being held December 9-13. The MegaMouseMeet is Saturday, December 11. A whole bunch of us MousePlanet staff will be in attendance.

Who will be joining us there? Sound off!

I think that AVP and Mike are both flying out on Sunday. My flight on Monday is at 6:30, so I'll probably be at the park until around 4-4:30, but I'm not sure where I'll be yet. Exact plans will finalize as the date approaches. Lani is also flying out on Monday, but I'm not sure what time yet. I should be wearing a MousePlanet shirt and/or hat, and look just like the photo in my column.

Awright! We're hoping to be there

I did not know about this when we planned our trip. We will be staying at ASMuR 12/4 to 12/13. I guess this is right in the middle of our visit. Hoping to be at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Thur 12/9.

Maybe we get the prize for traveling the longest distance - about 7700 miles (from S.Africa!).

Can't wait to get there .... 7 weeks and counting

If you're working with a travel agent (Disney or otherwise), you might want to pick up your tickets well in advance.

Wow, that's a few miles.

I should be there! Just so happend that our trip for these dates coincide with one another. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Coming in on the 10th, staying at AKL... and leaving on the 14th.

PS... the 13th is my B-day - what a nice present, if I do say so myself.

We have already booked and paid online. Hopefully I will not have the problems picking up tickets that we experienced last time round! We spent nearly an hour trying to get tickets issued (even though we had receipts and photo I.D.). Not an experience I want to repeat in a hurry!

Thanks for the advice.

We will be at WDW from December 4-12. We have a pretty full schedule and are largely going to visit with Family who live in the area, so I don't know that we are likely to take part in any of the Mousefest activities. I'm sure we would be happy to at least take a moment to say "hi" to the MP folks if we get the opportunity, though.

The latest information that I've heard is that there may be as many as 700-1,000 people there. Of course, there's no real guarantee that everyone that signed up for the mailing list will show, but if the same percentage holds from last year, we're gonna have a whole lotta people there.

I'm still floored that people are willing to take time out of their Disney vacations (or even travel specifically for the reason) to meet all of us. It's really quite intimidating. (And yet strangely good for the ego at the same time.)

 Hi, everyone and thank you Mark. 41 more days.

I just discovered that there are 617 people that have signed up for Deb Wills AllEarsNet 2004 Mousefest "UPDATE" email list. I know that this may not mean that 617 people may actually show up for Mousefest. But it is interesting that there are 617 people that want to know about the 2004 Mousefest Updates.

You can go to Deb Wills 2004 Mousefest website direct link listed here at for her list of meets at: www.allearsnet.com/btp/mousefest.htm
You can also go to following site to sign up for Deb Wills AllEarsNet 2004 Mousefest "UPDATES". This Yahoo account can show you the past updates by clicking "messages", and you can also click "members" to see how many people have signed up for this email update and is interested or may come to Mousefest. Can you believe over "617" have signed up so far since 10/30/04?!!! Here is the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/2004MF/join

So I guess this is a way to sign up for the 2004 Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet if you are interested to let Deb Wills and the other Web Founders if you are interested in coming to the 2004 Mousefest.

I think that last year under 200 people signed up, but almost 400 actually came to the 2003 Mousefest MegaMouse Meet. If 617 have signed up now, could another 400 show up that aren't signed up? Could there be over a 1000 people there? Wowzer!!!!!!

Last year, 193 signed up and 470 showed up. So more than triple last year's number have signed up. Could we have almost 1,500 people? Oh, my. (Remember, each of those signed up could represent two or more people.) I'll be there in 41 days. MegaMouseMeet in 42 days. For some reason, it doesn't seem real yet...
