It's good to hear about the change to Grad Nite, though unfortunate that masses of kids could still be popping up through April, May and June. When we went in May of 2012, it was impossible not to overlap with Grad Nite. While the teenagers were annoying enough, they weren't actually the problem. The problem was the party event, which resulted in us (as regular guests) being herded around like cattle on our last night in the park. Castmembers almost weren't going to let us get to our locker to get our stuff because it would involve us walking in a direction that we weren't being herded to. Keeping the party in DCA is a great idea!

Are the days between the Grad Nights any worse than a typical summer day? We will be in California for a conference and when have only one day available to go, Thursday, June 12th. It's not a grad night, though I know it will be busy anyway. Any enlightenment anyone could provide is appreciated. We won't be back in California again until early October.
We really want to hit Radiator Springs Raceway, as we have yet to ride it. What time should we head to CA to get in line? We will likely be at DL when it opens, since CA opens later than DL. Thanks for the help!

If you choose to use the single rider option at RSR, you're good to go most anytime!

From a testing perspective, it's hardly surprising they would be treating it as a new ride, considering that it was a complete rip and replace of the track, cars, and control systems...
