Are there bedbugs in Anaheim hotels
We are planning a trip to DL for 2012. I was online checking out some hotel/motel options. I noticed that when googling some hotel names, the name of the hotel came up along with bedbugs sightings. Does anyone know if this is a problem in the Anaheim area? If it is a problem how widespread is it?? Thanks for any info

Waiting impatiently for next trip
You might look here.. I've seen individual reports on some review websites but have never experienced problems myself in the hotels I've read reports about.

At home in the hills
I don't see any on the registry around, Disneyland.
The individual reports I have read on Trip advisor, were hotels I have read trip reports from various members here, with no complaints.
I would say just know what to look for when you are traveling anywhere.

Waiting impatiently for next trip
I think that's where I saw one recently for Rodeway Inn...which is a dive (what you get for $40 a night close to the park ), but no bedbugs were hitchhiking home with me.

The one I saw was one of the Best Westerns, but I can't remember which one.

Out of this world for Disney
I believe someone listed Super 8 on Katella with bed bugs on Tripadvisor.
"Although we think it's DOPEY that Pluto has been downgraded to a dwarf planet, which has made some people GRUMPY and others just SLEEPY, we are not BASHFUL in saying we would be HAPPY if Disney's Pluto would join us as an 8th dwarf. We think this is just what the DOC ordered and is nothing to SNEEZE at."

Now, see that is another one, I have read a recent trip report using this hotel, with NO mention of them.

I looked up how to look for bedbugs after this thread. The bad thing is one room can have them but the rest could be fine. I'm going to pull back the sheets and inspect before we unpack, just in case.
