“Ernest S. Marsh” Train Release at Disneyland

The DISNEYLAND Resort is pleased to present the “Ernest S. Marsh” Train Program Release featuring Railroad Historian, Michael Broggie & Retired Master Illustrator, Charles Boyer Saturday, July 27, 2002 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Disneyana Shop, Main Street, U.S.A. Railroad Enthusiasts & Disney Collectors will have the opportunity to take a nostalgic journey back in time to July 25, 1959, when the Ernest S. Marsh first took its inaugural run around Disneyland Park at the hands of Chief Engineer, Walt Disney. Ernest S. Marsh Locomotive by Michael Broggie This commemorative working scale model (Actual G scale size: 1:24) of the Ernest S. Marsh locomotive comes complete with steel wheels and a steel frame as well as miniature solid brass fittings. Railroad Historian, Michael Broggie will be on hand to sign the certificates of authenticity for this special limited edition piece. This “first issue” of the Ernest S. Marsh locomotive is limited to an edition size of 1959 and will be offered for $495. Ernest S. Marsh Train Commemorative Lithograph by Charles Boyer This commemorative lithograph depicts the Ernest S. Marsh steam engine and tender in front of the DisneylandŇ Main Street Station as we imagine the restored Baldwin would have looked on July 25, 1959, the day it made its first revenue run with Chief Engineer Walt Disney on the throttle. This unique lithograph is limited to an edition size of 250 and will be offered for $125. For more information, please call Disneyland DelivEARS at 800.362.4533.
