Electric Parade/Aladdin?? Dec 6th

Hi,
Does anyone have any idea if the Electric Parade and Aladdin will preform the week of Dec 6th?

We're planning our trip for Dec 6th for 4 days but Disney has not posted the schedule.
Our trip really does depend on these events.

Does anyone know??
Thanks,
Lisa

Electrical Parade doesn't usually show until the peak xmas weeks. Expecting it to start Dec. 18 this year.

Alladin shows Thurs-Sun.

Thanks for the reply.
Darn! I guess we can stay an extra day to see Aladdin, but I am disappointed to miss the Electric Parade.
It was down along time, and newly revamped, why isn't it every night at CaAdventure like it used to be???

A few reasons, the main one is cost. The labor for the show is large, and Disney can't justify offering the show year round, just during peak times, such as summer and peak Christmas. Disney hasn't offered year round DEP for a few years now. Heck, Disney has cut back on the Disneyland event, now offering the "Un-parade" called Celebration, which has about 2/3'rd the cast that the prior parades had.

Second is a problem for just this year, and that is the construction for the World of Color Amphitheater, which has the Parade Route being blocked off in the area. The Parade Route is expected to reopen on December 18, just in time for the Electrical Parade.

But with the World of Color coming to the park, many folks think the Electrical Parade will not be offered at DCA, as the crowds would conflict in the Amphitheater area and create too much of a traffic jam. (Note, nothing official has been announced, some think the Electrical Parade will return to Disneyland, but once again, traffic issues with the Fireworks would require the Electrical Parade to be offered either early in the evening, or after the Fireworks show.

Per the Disney Holiday website, they confirm the 12/18 date for return of the EP.

I also was hoping they would open the electrical parade early for that week (Dec.6th).
Since they are going to have Disneyland close at 6pm on 12/7 & 12/8, it would be nice if they had a night activity at DCA.
