Advice happily given!
Ahhh, the good old school holidays, when airlines and holiday companies feel free to ramp up the prices good and proper! I paid £400 in total for 4 adults, but this was well after the school holidays were over, so you will pay a little more. Shop around on the internet A LOT - it pays off in the long run. Prices can change from day to day, even, so be persistent!
If this is your first visit, I would plan for maybe 4 days, 3 nights, although it doesn't cost too much more to do 5 days, 4 nights. The parks are nowhere near the size of Florida, but if your little ones are happier with an mid-afternoon rest, then keep them to that. Do bear in mind though that park closure hours will depend on what time of year you go, when we went in September, for example, they were closing at between 6 & 7 p.m. Keep checking the DLP official website, they quite often do 'get 3 nights for the price of 2' type of deals; at the moment, they are offering free dining! You also have to remember that during school holidays the parks will be busier, so you will get less done in 4 days than you would in 4 days at quieter times. To be honest, if you 'commando' these parks, the two can be done completely in just two days, so if you take 4 or 5 days to do them, you will have a lovely, relaxing time. Feel free to ask any more advice if you need it!
