    Whitewater Snacks questions

1-How do you get to it from inside DCA? How far of a walk is it?
2-Can I take my DLR ECV?
3-I assume I can get back into DCA w/no problem, with my AP's?
4-What are your favorite things to order there?
5-How busy would you guess it would be tonight, or on this coming Tuesday night?

    Thanks!

Whitewater Snacks is accessed through the Grand California Hotel. You shouldn't have any trouble accessing. We like the burgers, chili cheese fries, and chicken salad sandwiches.

I don't think so, as it is classified "outside" the park. I would park just at the exit and walk from there. It isn't too far. Shorter than from the parking to the ECV rental area.

1-How do you get to it from inside DCA? How far of a walk is it?

Exit the GCH exit, turn left at the end of the hallway. It's not far at all - down that length of hallway and then again about that far.

2-Can I take my DLR ECV?

    No. It's outside the parks.

3-I assume I can get back into DCA w/no problem, with my AP's?

    Yes.

4-What are your favorite things to order there?

Nachos, burger, chicken sandwich hold the chile please.

5-How busy would you guess it would be tonight, or on this coming Tuesday night?

Tonight, Sunday - probably not too busy but keep in mind it closes early in the evenings. I think it closes at 7.

I must be crazy because I looked for it when we were there in March and could not find it. I didn't think to ask anyone where it was but then again, I was the only one interested in finding it(in my group). LOL

We always eat at least one meal there a trip. Good food and low crowds. A little difficult to find if you've never been there. Keep going--it is past the carved bear!

A couple of little tips different from what is mentioned earlier: order the kids' meal. Huge portions and save some money. Also my DDs love getting the icee. And, the breakfast is good, cheap and fast. Love the breakfast burrito.

You also get AP (or AAA) discount on the food!

Yes it closes at 7pm currently on weekends, not sure of weekdays. We who were 10 minutes late in getting there today, can confirm that.

This is a wonderful casual dining option especially during the summer! It is located just outside of the pool area of GCH and has a lovely shaded patio for dining. The best thing of all, free soft drink refills!

Easiest way to find it from DCA is to go to the Hotel exit near Grizzly River Run, go down the hall and turn left (at the pool). In fact, the easiest thing to do is find the pool at the Grand Californian and go clockwise around the pool until you find it.

Does Whitewater still offer the refillable mug for beverages throughout your stay?
