There are so many, it would be difficult to list them all. Just in our immediate area, one district gets out 5/30 and goes back Aug 18, while the one right next to it gets out June 12 to Aug 27. Then we have all the schools that are year round.Originally Posted by rds912

My school gets out June 18th. I don't know when it starts, but I'm guessing it'll be around Sept 5th/6th/7th.

Litchfield Elementary School District (West of Phoenix, AZ) is out May 23. We start back August 4.
The Oregon schools I know of (that is in Lane County, Eugene area) get out around the second week of June and start back the first week of September, approximately. All schools will be a little different though.

Most of the schools by us are year round which means the only time we all have off together are the first 3 weeks in July. We have the entire month of April off though.
The vast majority of Phoenix area schools get out the Thursday or Friday before Memorial Day and go back the first or second week of August.
Why do people go on The Amazing Race without bothering to learn how to drive a stick shift?
Reno area in NV gets out of school June 4 and starts back August 25.

Kerman schools (central valley CA) get out May 30th and go back Mid August.
I am from CA and my school gets out from June 10th, and it will goes back probably from last of August.
I didn't realize so many schools were year round or that so many 9 month school s got out in late May. We are going the first week in June so hopefully it wont be too bad yet.
LOL and I didn't realize so many didn't!! last year we got out June 6th and we were the LAST district in AZ that I had heard of. Everyone else got out the friday of Memorial Day weekend. But we start god awful early, so it is a wash!! Really we get 2 1/2 months off instead of three.
I will be there May 31-June 3. I am hoping for not super-crazy crowds, but I am expecting it to be busy.

My daughter is in year round school in Reno,NV. She has the month of may off
We're in Davis - we get out June 12th or 13th this year.
