Toy Story Mania effect on Nemo?

Anyone have any guesses if Toy Story Mania opening will relieve some summer line pressure for Nemo at Disneyland? Not that Nemo is our favorite ride but we have only ridden once during AP previews and would like to do it again this summer without waiting hours.
Is Mania going to have FP?
    Thanks!

    Have a Disney Day!

I doubt it. All factors considered, the Nemo hype, the fact that it's in Disneyland and not in DCA, and the way it's set up, I think that Nemo line is pretty much destined to be long forever. I hate to be the pessimist, but I think they could open a Splash Mountain or Indy caliber ride over at DCA, and I don't think it would much affect the Nemo line.

At least it doesn't go back to Small World on a regular basis as it did when it first opened.

We rode it in October and werent overly impressed, especially for the amount of time you wait to ride it.

I predicted this when it opened. There was some misguided hope that the lines would shorten. But you have a very slow loading, low capacity ride without FastPass. There is no way that this will ever be easy to get on without some luck.

Try riding Nemo at night. The wait last night was about 30-45 minutes long last night. You can also see the fireworks (a little) while waiting in line.

The Alternate Viewing Area is a great way to see Nemo without having to wait in a horrendously long line. We walked right on to it this week and by-passed a wait of over an hour. I think the view is even better on the huge flat-screen vs. a tiny porthole.

Looking forward to planning another Disney Adventure!

We went right after the parade on an 8:00 closing night in January and waited 15 minutes. We made sure we were on the TL side of the route (right next to Le Petit Chalet) and as soon as we saw the castle float, we headed over to the lagoon. I've seen the queue like that fairly consistently on off-season nights. I've also gone at the end of the night right before closing a number of times and haven't waited more than 30 minutes.

Where is this alternate viewing area? We were on Nemo in August, and will likely go again, but this would be cool as well!

Go through the exit pathway and talk to the CM who is loading the sub queue. To your right about 20 feet away is a door with a wheelchair sign on it and some terminology I can't recall (fancy name for the room), but it is a room with two benches and space for wheelchairs to be brought in. We used it because my mom has problems navigating stairs (bad knees), and I think that it's actually a better "show" because the screen is so much bigger than the portholes.

We tried this past Sunday around the time the first showing of Fantasmic at 9 started. The line was considerably shorter and we waited about 20 minutes.

i rode it on a saturday morning during EE by heading straight there the minute the gate opened; I walked with determination and followed the CM winding his way around the chains (I didn't understand why they didn't just let us go straight through until after the ride); I were on the second sub to leave the dock. when I got off, the queue was already 45 minutes long (all the way back to the end of the chains) and by the beginning of official park entry, it was over an hour long. The next day was another EE day but I decided to do my usual FL strategy instead and was amazed - FL was completely dead (I got to sit on Peter Pan for 3 go-arounds and only got off because I thought I should check out the other rides, not because the CMs wanted me to get off). I thought Nemo was cute and would love to ride it again without waiting, but not enough to give up my chance to ride all the rides in FL several times over with no competition. the monday was not an EE day, and I had thought that I would go straight to Nemo from ropedrop but it seemed EVERYONE had that idea; the pushing and shoving and running crowds were enough to change my mind by the time we got to the matterhorn so I veered off and headed to FL again.

We have gone 3 times in the last 2 month all during parade times @ night. We only waited 20-30 min. The 1st time I hesitated because the wait time said 50 min. I asked the CM if I should come back in the morning because we had EE but she said to go now because everyone rushes straight to Nemo in the morning.
